Mindfulness: The States of Mind
There are three states of mind

Rational Mind:
↳ Defined: A state of mind during which thoughts are purely logical. Emotions are not taken into consideration; everything is based on facts rationality, rigid rules and standards. Being in rational mind means you may have detached yourself from the situation , and are instead looking at it from an outside, analytical viewpoint. It can be quite mechanical, robotic an militant.

Emotion Mind:
↳ Defined: A state of mind during which thoughts are based on emotions. Facts may be distorted and your perception of reality is often skewed by how you feel. It can feel quite chaotic, overwhelming and intense.

Wise Mind:
↳ Defined: A state of mind during which both rational mind and emotion mind are combined. Logic and emotions are both taken into consideration. All of us have access to our wise mind. The voice of our wise mind points us in the direction of what is best for us. Many of us choose to ignore our wise mind, especially when emotionally heightened. Wise Mind is the voice that guides behaviour based on values and qualities of our ideal self.
